u Operating instructions:
1. Put the switch into the top 10v, press the red button, and it can use a 10v voltage to measure surface resistance. Put the switch into the top 100v, press the red button, and it can use a 100v voltage to measure surface resistance. Under normal circumstances, the resistance should be insulated, it should show > 1012.
2. Display method: The surface resistance in ohms display on the LCD, for example, 1.2*103 show as 1.2E3, so it’s 1,200ohms.
3. Measuring range: 103-106 (scope of conductive) It’s more accurate when you measure with10v voltage measurements. 106-1012(scope of antistatic) It’s more accurate when you measure with 100v voltage measurements. >1012(scope of insulation) It’s more accurate when you measure with 100v voltage measurements.
4. Measured with two electrodes: put the two electrodes of the device into the measuring surface, press the red button. Measured with a heavy hammer: the two connection wire end insert into instrument front of jack (External Probes), and the other end insert into above jack of the heavy hammer, instrument under the electrode be disconnected at the same time, the electrode under the instrument should be disconnected, put the heavy hammer on the mearesuring surface. press the red button, it can be measured.
